Vidalia Star Announces Top 5

Vidalia star linebacker Nate McBride announced his top five schools yesterday. The ultra-athletic rising senior linebacker’s list consists of college football powerhouses Georgia, Oregon, Alabama, Auburn and Stanford.

McBride is considered to be the top inside linebacker in the country according to most pundits. His elite speed is one reason why, and the 6’2″, 220-pound athlete reported running a 10.6 100-meter dash a little over a month ago according to Anthony Dasher of UGAsports.com.

The pride of Vidalia is a gifted athlete but unfortunately endured a setback last season after injuring his wrist in a car accident, which sidelined him for the 2015 season. McBride was first-team All-Middle Georgia in 2014 while totaling 96 tackles and two interceptions on defense and leading the Indians to a 12-1 record.

Last season did not go as well, and the Indians went 8-4 during the 2015 season. With McBride back and ready to go, we expect Vidalia to be a team to be reckoned with for the 2016 season.

We don’t expect McBride to make a decision anytime soon. He will most likely take his official visits this fall before making any decision, so be sure to follow @RecruitGeorgia to hear the latest news on the Vidalia star. Also be sure to give us a LIKE on Facebook by clicking HERE.
