Fall and football go hand-in-hand, and this August we are excited to announce our partnership with SportalNews for the 2018 season. The brand-new online digital hub will be streaming LIVE football games every Friday night on the SportalTV YouTube Channel.
Each matchup will showcase the best high school football teams in the Atlanta area and elite recruits that are coveted by the top college football programs in the country. Over 21 All-State players from around Georgia are slated to play in this year’s lineup of games. Premier five-star prospects like Cedar Grove’s Jadon Haselwood (UGA commit) and Grayson’s Owen Pappoe (Auburn commit) will be playing in exclusive games on SportalTV’s free broadcast. SportalTV’s experienced announcer crew will be rolling every week, bringing insight and knowledge about the Atlanta high school football scene to each broadcast.
This year’s lineup of gridiron games are sure to catch the eye of any football fan. SportalTV will be broadcasting a competitive schedule with 18 playoff teams participating with a combined 2017 record of 162-85. The Atlanta area is home to some of the best football in the country and SportalTV will be providing coverage that is up close and personal that really brings the feel of what Friday Night Lights is all about.
On top of that, every Friday SportalNews will have reporters blanketing the metro-Atlanta area covering up to five additional GHSA games, so go ahead and follow @sportalspace on Twitter to get their live in-game updates. After each game they will publish a detailed recap on their website with stats and quotes included.
SportalTV will also be hosting a weekly preview show titled End Zone to End Zone that will air every Thursday night. The show is hosted by high school sports analysts Kyle Sandy and Ned Kaish. The two take a look back at the most electrifying plays from the weekend prior and then preview the best matchups around the state, including the featured SportalTV Game of the Week. There are tons of interviews, insight and fun competition between the student-athletes making it a must-watch for any football fanatic or supporter of the community.
There is a lot to be excited about with all the quality pigskin content coming out of the Sportal crew this autumn.
