Savannah Christian Junior playing off the Wall

Savannah Christian’s Kenry Wall is playing outstanding this year. The junior has 16 carries for 222 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns while also catching 210 yards on 10 receptions and an additional 3 more scores through the air.

He has been consistently great for the #5 team in 3A and last week he made a catch that was truly off the wall. Lining up at receiver on the 24-yard line, Wall ran a short go route toward the endzone. With the defensive back over top, Wall dove at a 45-degree angle backward with one hand reached out. The ball was controlled, then corralled with both hands as the junior came down to the ground.

The play earned Wall one of the top 3 plays of the week on the site, and overall it just encapsulates the great start to the year for the Savannah Christian slot.

“I would describe my Junior season so far as exciting; I love the players we have and I like the way we run and pass the ball. I feel like this year would be my breakout year because I can do so many things with the ball in my hands or in the air,” Wall said

The breakout season can be credited to the hard work and dedication that the 2025 prospect has strived for during the last offseason. Wall talked about where exactly he has improved the most.

I can make better catches and I can see the field better as a player. Defensively, I make better reads and I am more of a ball hawk than last year,” he said.

Going into the season, we were pretty high on Savannah Christian picking them as our preseason ‘Darkhorse Champion’ in 3A. Wall was a player that we thought would have an impact, and so far the junior has amassed 564 yards and 6 total touchdowns on the year, while also being a good reactive cornerback too.

His recruitment has started to heat up too, with several local programs taking an interest in his playmaking.

“As of right now i am hearing from Kennesaw State, Mercer, Bellarmine and Georgia Southern.”

Wall said that he has also taken visits to Georgia Southern, Mercer and just week in fact the junior was at Kennesaw State. What we find interesting is that all three programs run fairly different offenses, so that says a lot about the versatility of Wall as a playmaker for them to take an interest.

As of now, Wall’s recruitment is really just starting to heat up. On the season front, the biggest game of the regular season is coming up against Calvary Day. That will probably be one of the few top matchups during the regular season for 3A, and will have the whole city of Savannah tuning in.

No doubt, we expect Wall to make an impact, so be sure to follow @RecruitGeorgia on Twitter/X to see the latest highlights on Wall and athletes all across the state each and every week.
