Sleeper of the Day

Jarrett Anderson
2021 Bowdon

Anderson has been a tackling-machine the last few years at Bowdon. He is the human torpedo out there on the field, getting low on his tackle attempts and driving thru the ball carrier. Nice looking athlete, but needs more strength at the point of attack. He is a high-motor football player though who comes from the backside and cleans up a lot of tackles. Good instincts knifing thru the gaps. Was huge in a few games in 2019 – 13.5 tackles vs Bremen being perhaps the hallmark victory of the 2019 season. Anderson was only about 190 lbs. this time a year ago, and is a little over 200 now, so he should end up being around 225 lbs. at the college level, which is a promising proposition considering his IQ and energy he plays with.
