Welcome to another edition of the Recruiting Recap! Thanks for stopping by, and if you are new here this is a feature where we cover all of yesterday’s offers, commitments and of course our sleeper of the day. Occasionally we do a ‘heating up’ feature, but that’s only when a specific recruit is seeing an upswing in offers.
I hope everyone is doing well. It looks like offers continue to roll out here in the state of Georgia, so jump down below see all the action in the state over the last 24 hours.
Thanks for the continued support, we will be posting recaps each morning Mon-Fri, so please stop by to see the most concise recap on the state of Georgia.

Johnathan ‘Bo’ Hughley
2023 Hughes
Hughley is one of the biggest OL in the state standing at 6’7″ and 270 lbs. with a 7′ foot wingspan. One of the top OL trainers in the state gave use the headsup on him earlier this year, and even before his first varsity snap he had an offer from Georgia Tech. With the season under way, and now his first 3 games out, Hughley has received offers from Duke, UGA, Tennessee and Miss State – the last three all coming yesterday. Jumping into his film and you see the raw upside, and his length play a huge role, the opponent simply cannot even reach him but Hughley drives them back.
Sleeper of the Day
Nathan Payne
2021 Mt. View
Payne has packed on the weight over the last year going from 175 to 215 his junior year. Senior year he is now leveled off at 210 lbs., which is a good weight for his 6’3″ frame. The strong quarterback had a few big games last year and definitely throws a nice deep ball. He makes some extremely tough throws with the defense directly in his face. Also a few very tough back shoulder throws. Payne can run the ball, but doesn’t do it too much. Pretty quick snappy throw with a solid follow through on his release. Definitely like the compusre he is showing his senior year standing tall in the pocket, going through his progressions and making tough throws. We have posted his early SR film down below, you can see that Payne is an accurate passer and can locate passes into tight windows. The senior has no offers yet, but received interest from Marist to go along with some local programs too. He has a 3.4 GPA.
