Sleeper of the Day
CJ Gray
2025 Temple
Running Back
Gray has been among the most consistent runners in the state over the years. Seems like every season you can pull up the stats, and Gray has gone over 1000 yards. The senior is well on pace to be over that milestone again and help push Temple to an excellent 6-2 record and a chance to win the region title. Gray takes the handoff and immediately gets upfield. Almost like a rocket booster attached to his heels, Gray quickly hits full stride and squares his pads forward, churning upfield to get big yardage. He has good lateral quickness, shows a nice jump cut a the line of scrimmage, and has speed to get outside. The senior low frame and pad level make it so Gray can hide behind his offensive line, and pick his way through the blockers. The urgency he shows at the handoff seems like a great fit for options teams, plus a good forward lean, his running style in between the tackles would mesh with that scheme. Gray has good top-end speed, and at 5’9″ and 190 lbs., the senior back has a nice balance of skills and the natural instincts you want in a D1 ball carrier.

Three ‘n Out
Falcons star RB Bijan Robinson was at the Buford vs Central Gwinnett game and Ty ‘Boogie’ Green got to meet the Falcons back. Green has looked great during the 2024 season playing all over the field for 6A’s top-rated Buford. The junior has made several explosive runs for over 40 yards, and much like the Falcons star, Green can make defenders look silly in the open field.

The athletic upside of Creekview junior receiver Nathan Agyemang continues to trend upward. With the Creekside staff pound at the table, and a 6’5″ 215 lbs. frame, the junior receiver will grab the attention of college evaluators. Agyemang has more than doubled his production last year through 8 games and is averaging a whopping 22 yards per catch. Agyemang has a huge radius to catch the football and looks natural getting between the football and the defensive back. He is a 2026 to watch closely.
Big time 2026 WR that needs to be on everyone’s board. @RecruitGeorgia @PrepRedzoneGA @RustyMansell_ https://t.co/vZp5juUBMV

Savannah Christian senior Elijah Griffin committed to UGA on Friday. Griffin is our top player in the state for the class of ’25 and has been an All-State selection for 2022 and 2023. The Savannah Christian defensive lineman should continue the tradition of UGA sending DL to the first round of the NFL Draft.
Just announced: 5-star DT Elijah Griffin has committed to the University of Georgia.
Griffin is the nation’s top defensive lineman in the class of 2025.
