Sleeper of the Day
Polite does not play like his suggested name. The senior is tough, playing with great activity, popping out his stance and utilizing his hands at the point of attack to great effect. At around 6’2″, Polite still occupies space, getting consistent leverage, which indicates an above average arm length. Impactful hands at point of attack; on top of impressive leverage Polite plays good pad level too. His quick hands and feet really make a difference. Polite is a highly functional athlete who shows body control to change directions on the fly, couple that with a solid motor after the football, and you get a lot of tackles cleaning up from the backside. He’s a D1 caliber defensive tackle, and should continue to garner interest from FBS programs. Senior film shows Polite playing more explosive, looking stronger with hands, and covering the distance between him and the ball carrier quickly. The improve speed is noticeable on film, and considering his excellent fundamentals, you have a legit sleeper defensive tackle in the class of 2025. A few years from now, everyone could be looking back wondering how everyone missed Joseph Polite. Being pretty good at everything and a solid athlete can do that for you.

Mark your calendars for October 18th. Five-star defensive lineman Elijah Griffin will make his college commitment at 1:20 at Savannah Christian. I’m sure the recruiting media will be flocking to Savannah for the elite recruits’ final decision.
I will be announcing my commitment on FRIDAY OCTOBER 18th at 1:20pm at Savannah Christian Preparatory School! Eckburg Gym!! #raidernation🏴☠️🏴☠️

Chase Linton and his family enjoyed their official visit to UGA last weekend. He is supposed to have an official visit to GT upcoming, and then potentially a final decision? We shall see. The North Atlanta edge defender’s recruitment has turnt up since last summer, and a potential in-state battle could be brewing.

Fellowship Christian receiver Evan Haynes visited UNC on Saturday afternoon and then followed up with a visit to NC State later that evening. The senior committed to the Tar Heels at the end of summer, but hard to ignore some of the recruitment movement around the state, and how that friction could impact Haynes.
