Recruit Georgia’s 2016 Top Play Award Nominations

The regular season ended a few weeks back, and Recruit Georgia is now looking for the top plays for their second annual postseason awards (skip the intro and scroll down to see the awards)!

Below are individual awards for a specific play accomplished by an athlete. So a good example would be if you made an incredible leaping catch, nominate your athlete for The Megatron Award. You can nominate multiple plays but only elite plays will make the cut. This covers the enitre 2016 season, so the playoffs are acceptable nominations, as well. 

Submit your nomination in the COMMENT BOX down below, with the HUDL and time linked OR email to recruitgeorgia1@gmail.com. NOTE: comments with a link need to be approved by a site moderator, by doing so we can enjoy a spam free site. So if your comment does not post immediately, do not worry, it just needs to be approved.

After receiving your nomination, Recruit Georgia will then select the top 5-10 plays for each award, and make a highlight reel. Then the Recruit Georgia community will vote for the winners for each postseason award.

Winners will receive a free scouting report, new/updated profile and featured recruiting article on the website, plus have the notoriety of making one of the best plays in the state of Georgia!

Recruit Georgia’s 2016 Postseason Awards

Honeybadger – best defensive score

The Human Joystick – best juke move combination

Megatron – best leaping catch

Da Bomb – Longest Pass (in air)

Top Dime – most accurate touchdown pass

Beastmode – most broken tackles on a single run

Mr. Hitstick – biggest hit by a defender

IHOP Cook – best pancake block

Das Boot – longest/most difficult field goal kick

Sack Artist – most explosive sack

Pacman – top interception grab

The Returnman – best KR/PR for a score
