What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Just being able to get better and a player, listen and do everything I do fast and with a purpose. And work hard and do everything I need to do as a player

Wood has elite quickness for a guy with a frame like his, and will absolutely unload on the ball carrier. He plays with outstanding hands, very strong at the point of attack and relentless getting off blocks. Wood’s ability to change direction is rare, and allows him to slip by blocks and just terrorize the backfield. Curious to see how he grows this offseason, since last September he has added 85 pounds to his squat. Wood is an extremely underrated DE recruit, and from looking him run the ball he is probably the top FB prospect in the state. His ability to defend the run and change direction is a P5 level in my opinion. Great football player.
