What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

1000 yard rusher, finished 2nd in state for wrestling, finished 3rd in state for 110 hurdles. I’m committed to doing everything at the highest level.

Cook is starting to see his college interest improve during this offseason and he just earned his first D1 offer from Wofford this spring. The talented 2025 running back had 1065 yards on the ground and another 252 yards through the air. What you have to like about Cook’s film he goes the distance with these long runs. So when he gets a seam, he shows the burst and top-end speed to blow by defenses consistently for plays that go over 40 yards. Interestingly, his running average is only 5 yards per carry despite having a lot of explosive plays on film, so I would assume that defenses were loading the box. On the flip side, his receiving yards are nearly 20 yards per catch, so it appears that Cook’s averages are more team-dependent. Cook does a good job keeping his pad level low and drives his feet through contact. He is a decisive runner, making hard cuts without losing much speed. I like the toughness and balance he shows when taking on tacklers, good forward lean to extra yardage. As a receiver, he makes several tough catches down the middle with a defender draped over his back. Cook is a very underrated back with some legit top-end speed that is FBS caliber and perhaps one of the best receivers coming out of the backfield in the state. He should showout at college camps this summer.
