Zaire Thornton – WR
Mays

#11 WIDE RECEIVER

HT: 6’2″
WT: 165
Class: 2020

Thornton’s slight frame makes you wonder how much weight he will gain even in college, but he does show very good hand-eye coordination and has some of the better ball skills you will see going up for a pass in this recruiting class. Thornton should get the majority of the reps senior year and be a lot closer to 900 yards. Thornton has very good hands, and he doesn’t drop many passes, but needs to work a good bit in terms of being an FBS athlete in the weight room.

Zaire Is 6”2.5 180 lbs. I’m his father and I’m 6”4 230 lbs. I’d say he’ll put on plenty. He’s a premier WR in this state who doesn’t get the recognition or respect he deserves. We love it though! It’s just bulletin board material for us! Check him out at TSU next season.

    1. Best of luck to him, the scouting report was made more about 15 months to be honest – he’s definitely added some weight. Always thought from a technical skill stand point he was one of the more talented receivers in GA.

      1. Thanks…We appreciate it. All love. He’s about 6”3 190 now. Hopefully, they’ll play in Feb and we’ll see if his bigger size adds any new dimensions to his game.
