Perkins has a big frame and long arms which allows him to get off blocks quick. He does a great job of jumping the gaps and making a stop in the background – very instinctual how he steps up in run support, very little hesitation. Looks like he changes directions really well, he shows good speed sliding out to the edge. He’s extremely versatile player who can be standing up on 1st and 2nd and then get his hand down in the ground on 3rd. Very tenacious football player, and like we said, his agility is very impressive for a player his size.
