Dennis has been a major contributor for every season at Cedar Grove and this year he is playing QB. He is very effective running the read option, sells his mesh and reads the DE. No doubt he’s very athletic, and can change direction and escape out of the pocket in a blink. One area we really like about Dennis is his ability to find the first down and keep the chains moving. He’s got solid arm strength, and will hang in the pocket taking big hits after the throw. Sometimes his deep ball hangs up in the air, but he certainly has great range, throwing the ball around 60 yards down field. Dennis has been improving as the season has gone along, and his timing with his receiver is on the up and up. The 2018 QB could play in an spread option offense or play a number positions at the next level.
This kid has been reading defenses since he was 7 years old. He’s one of the smarter kids that I’ve seen playing the position and due to athleticism that has made him a huge asset to his team
