What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Led the region with 107 tackles, 3 sacks, 5 QB hurries, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 pass breakups.

Very productive year last fall for Lewis, who was one of the bright spots of the Whitewater defense leading them in tackles. What the 2019 backer can do is fill a hole, and he does a really good job of exploding through the hips on his tackle attempts. I like how he he hits his foot on the accelerator once he has the ball carrier in his sights. Need to see him slide his feet more and do less hopping. Working on keep his pads parallel to the LOS will really help with him lining up his tackle attempts better. Lewis has good strength, and when he makes contact the back typically is stopped in his tracks. He shows good hip bend, but would like to see improve his lateral quickness specifically this summer. That should help increase his production in the tackle box even more. I like his frame to continue to add weight and think Lewis can be closer to 240 in fact. He’s a good fit to play MLB, especially in a 3-4 defense even with height issue since he is so strong and does a nice job of taking on blocks from linemen.
