What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

2022 HM All County Safety first year playing the position. Athlete that can adapt.

The All-County and All-State HM safety had 4 interceptions on the year while also displaying a propensity for big hits down the middle while in coverage. Pacini has good size at 6’2″ 190 lbs., and the type of frame to be well over 200 at the next level. He has good ball skill, which helped accumulate a few of interceptions downfield where he high-pointed the pass over the receiver. Pacini tackling is solid. He comes in with intensity and is pretty good at squaring up his attempts. We would like to see his pad level get lower on some attempts, and just be more consistent with his fundamentals rather than big hit hunt. Pacini had 80 tackles on the year, so hard to argue against the results. He is quick to step against the run or passes out to the flat. The senior caused 3 fumbles too and had a total of 7 takeaways on the year, which says a lot about his impact on the field. Pacini looks to be a strong safety at the next level and should play closer to the LOS. With him continuing to fill out his 6’2″ frame and cleaning up his tackling, the 2024 prospect appears to be a sleeper among seniors still available.
