What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

First Team All-State as a sophomore and leading tackler, TFL, sacks, FF, FR, defensive touchdowns, and Team Captain.

Canosa has been starting since his freshman year at Allatoona, where he looked really impressive in the state title game. The 2023 linebacker has very good instincts. He is extremely aggressive getting off blocks and has excellent lateral quickness. Canosa is able to close on the football while changing directions fairly fluidly, we would like to see him hop less and try to slide his feet. He’s most playing off the edge, which at 6’1″ and 225 lbs. that doesn’t completely take advantage of where he will most likely play at the next level. We simply do not think he has the length. Canosa is instinctually a very good defender. He has above average acceleration and an excellent motor. Does appear to overpursue at times, but does a good job hustling back and make the tackle. The 2023 recruit is very physical taking on blockers, showing nice hand placement, good flexibility getting around the blocks and getting low. There is no doubt that he is better at getting off blocks than your average linebacker. Canosa does a solid of job of setting the edge too. Overall, there is just a lack of explosion though for the 2023 linebacker, and though he is rock solid, he lacks the length to play off the edge, and just doesn’t pop enough on film closing ball carriers.
