Hopper is already the size of an FBS safety. He is quick to step up and lay the wood out on the ball carrier. He has impeccable reactions out there on the field, timing his jumps excellently to break up the pass. The 2019 recruit is really physical, gets up on and jams the receiver utilizing violently strong hands. He aggressively separates the ball out of the receiver’s hands. Hopper is an elite athlete and we expect him to be a dominate force the next few years at Roswell. He is a no-doubt Power 5 player and it will be interesting to see if he continues to fillout his frame and ends up playing nickle, or maybe into a WILL. His newest film at Roswell shows how effective and physical he is coming off the edge and playing near the line of scrimmage. Given his frame, we think Hopper can play outside linebacker at the next level.
