Tyler Washington – WR
Lanier

#5 WIDE RECEIVER

HT: 5’11”
WT: 180
GPA: N/A
Class: 2021

Washington has 1250 yards and 10 total touchdowns on the year. With just limited knowledge at the time of this writing, Washington appears to be about 5’11” with solid speed and a very fluid running stride where he loses little speed when changing directions. Washington can hit his top speed very well, and has the speed to space out from a lot of defenders. Washington has legit speed, and that 2nd gear can create some huge plays. His route running is solid. Got to like the versatility he shows playing both RB and almost every WR position too. At the next level, he would be a very good fit to play slot receiver. Washington has way better speed than most receivers in the state, and his overall versatility really makes him a super interesting prospect. He is a very good target for pass happy teams especially, but really anyone who runs a spread offense can utilize the speedy threat out of Lanier. Big area to improve is just getting better at making defenders miss in the open field, too many times he just opts to run around the defender where his speed could just open big cutbacks.
