Roach was one of the first sign ups for the class of 2020 for our service. He is a tenacious player who loves to get into the backfield and disrupt the play. He came into HS with all of the accolades, but getting reps at Archer is no easy task. He seemed to see his production increase as the season continued. Roach has a really good feel for the game, he is excellent at playing in space and shows nice hip swivel when changing directions. The 2020 recruit has always been a good finisher when tackling, but would like to see more explosion in the hips. The 2020 recruits ability to change directions is invaluable in pass coverage, and you see him have a big impact playing the pass. He projects well as a hybrid safety linebacker type that can bust off spread offenses out in the flat.
