Staley impressed athletically at the Corky Kell showing strong hands getting off blocks where he rips thru the offensive linemen and gets good penetration into the backfield. Staley is more of a 3-4 OLB type of prospect. He has good straight line speed. Nice strong frame, should be over 230 at the next level easily. Plenty of hustle plays on the year where he goes 20-30 yards down field to make a tackle. His best game probably came against McEachern at the beginning of the season. Tackles a little too high at times, needs to drop his hips and meet the ball carrier more at the waist.
