Cabble is a big hitting linebacker who shows legit football speed. He does a great job of sinking his hips before making a tackle and explodes through emphatically. He is working hard in the weight room this offseason, topping the charts for players at his position on the North Cobb squad. We had big expectations for the senior, but an ACL injury during the Harrison game sidelined him for the remainder of the season and he only got 4 games in. During that span he caused 3 fumbles, including one on Harrison’s Justin Fields. He has a big frame, and even in the last 6 months he gained another 10 pounds and continued to make good progress in the weight room. Senior productivity has certainly hurt his recruiting chances, but he did show flashes at the beginning of the year. Cabble is one of the hardest player we have had to evaluate due to his complete lack of varsity film. He played behind multiple FBS linebackers last year as a junior, so that’s no fault of his own and did show moments in his limited SR film. I could see FBS & FCS schools possibly giving him a PWO option.
