Stanford finished off his senior year with 4 INT’s, about 70 tackles and nearly double digit PBU’s. He’s a big athlete for sure, and over the last years added about 20 lbs to his frame. He has all the makings to be a SS at the next level, or even grow into becoming a OLB too. Needs to work on lateral quickness a good bit right now, just doesn’t change gears quickly very well right now. Stanford is being slept on though for his academics and qualifying test score. It’s hard to find an athlete in South Georgia with his athletic upside and length. Open field tackling is pretty solid, he needs a good bit of work in the weight room but you definitely see a redshirt year paying off huge for Stanford so he can be ready to make an impact on special teams. He does a good job of reading the ball carrier and squaring up his tackle.
