Thomas is widely considered the best player at Americus-Sumter in the class of 2020. He has a long rangy body, can go up top and attack the pass the down the middle of the field. He has long arms, good wide radius to break up the pass. Thomas had a strong track season, and expecting to see a more explosive burst this season even. He can lay the boom, and even for skinnier guy, he can flat out knock the ball carrier off his feet. I really like how he closes, shows great pursuit angles and uses his momentum well to get the ball carrier down. I would like to see him get more reps at FS and in 2018 he mostly did. His speed is legit though, and he consistently chase down most backs on toss sweeps. Thomas has a ton of versatility at the next level, and I think he can definitely play P5 football at either CB or FS.
