Richey is a smart football player who really hones into the football and doesn’t fall for play fakes. He is everywhere on the field, lining up at DT, LB, even on specials teams getting up field in coverage. What you need to know about Richey is he takes pride in every aspect of his game, and seeks perfection. When you get a player like Richey on your team, all the small things start to fall in place. The 2020 ATHLETE shows good hustle at the linebacker spot. He has quick hips. Biggest thing is filling out his frame. At 185, that’s a little too light, and Richey really has to get his caloric intake up so he can be over 200 this time a year from now. Richey made some big plays last year and no doubt, a little more muscle to his frame and he will be popping running backs with even more force his senior year.
