Davis has a frame where he could add another 30 or so pounds and be a strongside defensive end at the next level. We really like how he meets the running back in the backfield, he gets really low, and like so many Morgan Co. players, he does a great job of wrapping up the ball carrier. He shows urgency getting out to the sideline, and his relentless attitude resulted in a fair amount of tackles for loss last season. This season he slid over to defensive tackle where his quickness and speed applied a lot of pressure on opposing QB’s. In certain pass-rushing situations they split him out to his old end spot. Davis is a solid defensive lineman recruit, he is patient reading the play, and has the physicality to set the edge and be a run stopping SDE at the next level.
