David has really made some nice progress in the last year and stepped his game up at the varsity level. Part of that is the hardwork he puts in during the offseason. He looks a ton more aggressive out there on the field and he does a great job of squaring up on the ball carrier when making a tackle. He closes down pretty quickly on the receiver, showing nice acceleration in the process, and is a secure tackler. In the next year we see him continuing to add weight, make serious progress in the weight room, which means he could slide over to free safety, which is a spot he is already receiving additional reps at. Didn’t give up a TD during the season.
