What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am willing to work for anything. I just want to be that person that the coach has enough faith in me to get any job done.
Speed, motor and long arms are the name of the game for Dunson. He shows a legit motor getting after the football and his football speed on the field is clear. This 2019 recruit certainly shows all of the intangibles you look for in an undersized OLB recruit. He has near elite speed, and his length allows him to get off blocks fast. Production wise he has a great season last year, making tackles all over the field. His quickness to get around blocks makes for a tough block, so moving up to linebacker would seem like an easier transition. Dunson must have long arms, they are like tentacles for him getting off these blocks. He can absolutely have an impact on the passing game in multiple facets – blitzed or in coverage. Dunson has good film no doubt, and beating 4 star offensive tackles at the LOS should grab any colleges attention. Major concerns is does he even have the frame to play OLB? Dunson might have to be more of a hybrid, who can specialize as a pass rusher. I think there is a good possibility he can get to be around 220-230 at the next level, but that remains to be seen.
