Gordon has legit speed getting to the football, and though he is pretty slight at 6’2-3″ and under 200 lbs. he looks to have the frame to become a legit inside linebacker at the next level. Gordon will no doubt have to wait a year and RS but has the explosive body type you want at the linebacker position. He is powerful in the hips, dropping before striking at the ball carrier and showing above average leg drive. It looks like his overaggression can get the best of him and times Gordon can take bad pursuit angles. He needs to rely on his near elite quickness and just learn to be more patient. Gordon is a real athletic talent. Though his tackling form is not always the cleanest, he is effective and does a very good job of getting the ball carrier down on impact. You have to love his speed in combination to his size and motor. Gordon is the type of player if he was playing ball closer to the Atlanta area he would have double digit offers. Outstanding quickness to the football, it’s really just how much weight he can put on, we are guessing at least in the 220’s.
