Newton has good playmaking ability, and last year he made a few impact plays like returning a punt for +50 yards. He makes steady plays too, and does a good job of reading the route and getting a hand on the football. His good reactions helps with making tackles out in the flat. He does a good job of squaring of his tackles, but lack of strength can lead to a struggle at getting him down at times. I really like the aggression he plays the game with. Making more PBU’s and cleaning up his tackling will help with his recruitment for sure.
