What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I’m a hard worker and I love the game. Im a 6A First Team All Region, 2021 ESPN All Coastal Team, 2nd Team All Greater Savannah Offensive Football player, and Top Offensive Linemen in the Class of 2025 By The Recruiting Brain.
Zimbalatti filled out nicely over the years and weighs around 315 lbs. The wide offensive guard prospect attaches himself to the defender and does a nice job of driving his legs through the defender. Zimbalatti plays with good urgency getting out to his responsibility. That said, he looks more comfortable as a straight-up blocker inside than pulling to the outside. Zimbalatti has strong fundamentals with consistently good hand placement. Improving his lateral quickness should help with lining up his blocks better. Zimbalatti plays solid physicality and punch at the point of attack. Although he shows solid body control while engaged, we would like to see him continue to improve his flexibility, specifically in the hips, and focus on flattening out his back while engaged. The senior is a tough blocker, who sticks with his man and doesn’t stop until the whistle is blown. What I find noteworthy is that Zimbaletti has lost 10 lbs. since last fall, and has made nearly 100 lbs gains with his bench and squat over the last year. He is now up to benching 395 lbs., which makes him one of the strongest guys up top in his recruiting class.
