Neville made all-county last year despite only playing 5 games as a junior. Looking at his frame and power that he plays with he looks like a legit FBS football player. His coverage skills are extremely adept for a 2019 recruit – shows good potential playing man on the slot or breaking on over the middle in a deep zone (which is how he is typically used). Neville has really good field vision with his 6’3″ frame. He does a solid job of wrapping up around the waist. The Dunwoody star does a great job of reading the QB’s eyes and the route tree unfolding in front of him. Neville is better suited to play SS at the next level, and his frame suggest that he can grow into a linebacker. It’s crazy that an injury as a junior has derailed this sure-fire FBS recruit. He is one of the biggest leaders at his school, and even won homecoming king. Grades are lower, might be biting off more than he can chew with extra curricular, but Thomas Neville is the type of recruit colleges should be looking for. Head coach talks very highly of Neville.
