What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My ability to make plays on the ball, cover deep, and ability to make s big hit from the FS position.
Underwood only played in 6 games last year but looks like another outstanding defensive back for ELCA. He flows to the ball and has excellent timing with his breakups. Underwood is the definition of a true FS, attacking the ball, using his length to break up the pass at the apex of his jump. He is quick stepping up in run support, and performs a textbook tackle, drilling the ball carrier square in the numbers. Underwood has been relatively slept on so far, but given his length, and athletic ability I would imagine FBS programs to become interested.
