Webb is no mystery recruit in the state of Georgia, and on many teams across the state he would have been getting varsity starts much earlier in his career, but such is life at Cartersville. The 2020 QB shows excellent arm strength, and his footwork is top notch already for his class. He does a very good job of stepping into his throws. His release point is a tad low (looks to be more 3/4 release), but standing at 6’4″, and showing a consistent hose for an arm; colleges shouldn’t have any qualms or real concerns in that department. Webb shows promise as a runner. Webb showed more active feet his junior year, and felt more comfortable as the starter. He sells his reads well, and over the last year he’s shaved his 40 time from 4.7 to 4.56. What I really like about Webb is how calm he looks in the pocket. He does a fantastic job of surveying the field and doesn’t seem to be in a hurry whatsoever. He’s still filling out his frame, and the 2020 QB should easily be over 200 lbs by the time he is in college. There was obvious some question about how Webb would do in 2018, and to me, the 2020 QB proved that he is with out question one of the top QB’s in his class.
