Dean plays off the edge at 265, but probably going to see him slide more to the inside once he continues to fill out his frame in college. Speaking of his frame, the 2019 recruit has really good size at 6’4″, shows wide shoulders, think he can end up being over 300 pounds at the next level. He uses length pretty well, needs to do a better job getting leverage, and keeping his feet under him so he generates enough power. The big lineman has a lot of upside for sure, he’s getting quicker using his hands. Very high ceiling for Dean, he’s a tough player and SR film shows him really getting after while blocking. Dean looks to a lot more at home play on the offensive side of the football, and getting to the 2nd level seems to be no problem for the athletic senior – he even makes multiple blocks on individual plays.
