Simmons has excellent length at 6’3″ and does a nice job of tackling through the body of the ball carrier, meaning he does hesitate on an attempt. Simmons is covers pretty good ground, I would like to see how fast he looks with another 20 lbs to his frame, it could be better even. Getting off blocks is okay, but in a lot of cases Simmons just comes off the edge clean with a wide open shot at the QB/RB. I would like to see him do a little more in coverage too, right now Simmons is just a pass-rusher. Needs to work on getting leverage, scraping off his block and pushing the ball carrier back into pursuit.
