Super weird, but Johnson signed up a few years ago when he was in Indiana, and now he’s actually in Georgia. He’s definitely a recruit to know about from all accounts. He was offered by ULM, ECU and Florida right before his junior year, and it’s obvious colleges are interested. Johnson is a complete mauler with how well he uses his hands. He shows good lateral quickness slide up field and making his blocks. Johnson keeps his back pretty flat and goes into a block staying low as well. Overall his athleticism and strong fundamentals warrants additional P5 interest. He should do extremely well in Class 2-A. Johnson looks more like an offensive guard at this point, he is definitely more refined as a run blocker. His junior year was very good, he graded out the 3rd best OL for team that dominated teams in the trenches and had the leading rusher in 2-A with Tank Bigsby.
