Schwebel set the GISA on fire last fall rushing for 2300 yards. Once the ball is in his hands, the 2019 recruit shows outstanding open field vision. He does a great job of keep his pads low and demonstrates outstanding balance running through contact. He doesn’t accelerate right away, and his top end speed will be a question but where the running back excels is lateral quickness. Schwebel can change direction without losing almost any speed, and you combine that with his outstanding field vision and you realize how he put up such great numbers. He does a great job of reading the defense down field and utilizes his blocks efficiently so that no defender can take a good angle. That sort of high IQ running is what makes the 2019 recruit a special player, and if he measures out in person, then he should attract competitive football schools during his recruitment.
