What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My knowledge of the game. I am the hardest worker on the field at all time. My execution on the field. The speed I can read routes and react on them. I am a field General. I have 6 Interceptions on the year and a couple of pass breakups. I am also very deadly on the offensive side of the ball, which helps me on the defensive side of the ball with ball skills. My lateral movements and being able to break tackles for long runs and making great catches. Making big time tackles throughout the game to get the defense off of the field. I am an all around Player.
Watched Taco since he was in middle school on film. The class of 2021 cornerback has a big track background too. Has competed on some competitive and nationally ranked 7v7 teams. Wright is the the younger brother of the starting QB at Woodward. His smooth running stride breaks on the pass pretty well and shows excellent change of direction too. Hips are on a swivel. Wright rotate over much quicker than your average cornerback. Tackling is good too, he comes in low and wraps more times than not, but still has the tendency to lead with his head. He is really starting to fill out his frame now after being on the lighter side early on in HS. That has added a whole new explosive element to his game and you are even seeing him break off big plays on offense now too. Route running is very good in fact, and there is definitely a good connection with his brother. He’s a really good kid too, works hard in the classroom and is dedicated in being a student-athlete in college. Whether he is on offense or defense the 2021 recruit just makes plays. Needs to get better with his tackling and just continue to add muscle in the lower body especially.
