Clemmons plays the game going 100 mph and shows really good balance and acceleration coming out of the backfield. His ability to get down field and make explosive plays as a receiver or running back adds an element of versatility that’s intriguing. He has a good juke move, naturally good leg drive through contact. Clemmons has a light frame, but his excellent pad level, and low center of gravity allows for him to take on contact and get extra yardage. He’s a tough guy, but lack of size puts a question mark on his endurance at too high of a level. He has good speed, but not sure it’s FBS quality really. He’s tough as nails taking the ball into the teeth of the defense. He’s very physical as a receiver and route running is well beyond most APB. He gets really good separation on short passing patterns. His ability to read the defender and make them miss in 1 v 1 situations is just a natural skill, and think with added size his good running vision will continue to benefit his game.
