What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Versatility and size

Bonner has excellent ball skills at concentration to haul in passes in very tight spaces. He shows very good urgency getting up field after the catch and once he strides out the 2022 TE can get up field fast. Bonner has a nose for the end zone and tough to get down after the catch. Bonner is an above average route runner with decent fakes and good acceleration out of his routes. Lack of lower body strength seems to be the main issue for Bonner, and lacking in his blocking film off the edge. Bonner made some of the more impressive catches of any TE in the state last year. The one he caught back against his body over his right shoulder might actually be the best of 2020. Overall, Bonner has a lot of room to improve in terms of being an athlete, but his hands and general coordination is impressive. I could see P5’s giving Bonner a PWO, but he’s a D1 caliber TE regardless, just needs more time to fill out and get to around 230-240 at the next level.
