Jefferson ended the season as one of the regular season tackle leaders in the state of Georgia. He has good height to see over the line of scrimmage, and does a nice job of reacting to the play in the backfield. His ability to anticipate the direction of the play is solid. His length is a real difference maker though and he has the ability to drop back in a zone and really disrupts passes at the 2nd level of the defensive secondary. He needs work in the weight room, and cannot always get the ball carrier down by himself at the HS level. He does show really good agility in the box, and can change directions really well to make a tackle. Even though he takes bad angles, he does convert on his tackles, which once again shows his length plays a major role. Jefferson has a lot of upside no doubt, but is a few years away outside of a special teams role.
