Bland has always been a lot bigger for his recruiting class, and has been around 200 pounds since his sophomore year. Where he impressed last fall was his production against top rated cornerbacks in the state of Georgia. I think he would make for a good possession slot receiver type of player, and can see him getting to around 210-215 at the next level. West Forsyth used him some as a ball carrier some as a junior, and it’ll be interested to see if he gets primary carries this fall with the graduation of a senior. SR year, and ss expected, Bland has been getting the brunt of the carries this year for West Forsyth and has been a major part of their offense ripping off long plays down the middle of the field. Acceleration looks much improve this year and the senior is really hitting his top speed early. Bland has always been good in tight spaces and changing directions well, so this transition to running back makes a lot of sense, and curious if more colleges will consider with a good bit of SR film out now.
