Alsobrooks is another consistent starter playing his junior year over at Spalding. He might not weigh much, but I do like how he gets downhill and attacks. He is a solid tackler, gauging the proper angle to make a tackle and closing on the ball carrier quickly. He is active with his hands, more than capable of stripping the ball carrier. He just ends up with the football. Alsobrooks has the frame of a CB tho, and plays safety for Spalding. He shows good change of direction when closing on a ball carrier – seems like he could play CB honestly. Good acceleration too, I like how quickly he hits his top speed. Seems like Alsobrooks is a much better fit to play CB, but he really lacks the film at the position, and seems to make a lot of plays against the run at the moment.
