What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

“I am a true team player and leader both on and off the field. I’ve worked hard to continue to improve.
This summer I earned the Iron Tiger award for highest percent increases in stats for my team.

Recently, I have earned the athlete of the week at my school, defensive player of the week on my team, and I was invited to the North Fulton Touchdown Club.”

King’s Ridge senior shows a nice swim move to get by the offensive lineman, and looks pretty quick getting out his stance. He gets pretty good leverage on his opponent, sometimes playing a little too high though. Where Barden is by far the most impressive is how he finishes off his tackles. The senior wraps up and drills the ball carrier when he gets his chance. Plays with a ton of intensity too. He does a nice job of pursuing the ball carrier, height allows him see over the line of scrimmage too. Looks like Barden can continue to add weight and become a DT at the next level. He’s a pretty big sleeper right now, so it’ll be interesting to see how his recruitment picks up in the next few months. Mid-major colleges should be all over him.
