Stevens had the most productive year last fall at Calvary Day, who had several D1 players on the defensive line. He shows a really quick swim move to get off his block, and impressive core strength allows him to knock the offensive lineman back. He has a motor to his game, and seems to be non-stop activity out there on the field. Going up against some solid offensive lineman, Stevens quick hands made them look bad. He gets good leverage, can set the edge on the run. I think if his lateral quickness is legit he can move over to linebacker at the next level. Either way, I would blitz Stevens a lot, as he shows really good potential as a pass-rusher. He needs to flatten out his back more, and work on getting lower to get of his blocks. Stevens should end up around 240-245 at the next level. Would be a good fit in a 3-4 as an OLB, but think he can get his weight high enough to get his hand in the ground on a 4-man front.
