What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

1st team 6a all region, 1st team all county, NGTD club special teams player of the year.

Pontrelli was one of the leading receivers returning in Class 7-A last year right under 800 yards. He’s is now a senior and the lanky receiver with great hands (catches away from body) is hoping that another good season will get him on colleges radar’s. He shows good athleticism with a fluid looking running gait but need to see a little more burst right when he catches the ball. He has some natural wiggle to him and can read a defender and make timely cuts. He also over jukes too. Senior is a tough runner and will shake off tackles through shear determination. Always fights for yards. We really like his potential to play competitive FCS/D2 football where he can grow into being a TE at the next level.

2016 STATS: 775 yards, 7 touchdowns & 60 receptions

This young man has serious game. Has very quick choppy feet and good hands in attacking the ball in flight. He is unafraid and has a natural habit of being within the play of the ball even when his number is not called. His presence is well respected on the field and leads the complementary WR core of teammates associated within the offense. Very well coached and it shows in his game. Plays within himself and has a uncanny ability to bend well at the hips. This makes him agile and nimble when executing the route tree. He is a visionary on defense from the safety positions and is involved in every played down while on the field. This is a coaches dream player when looking to acquire quality players to round off an incoming roster at the FCS level.
