Witherspoon is another GAC player with high academics. He does a great job of getting inside penetration and shows a lot of patience reading the ball carrier and getting off his block. He has a quality frame to add weight, a strong looking lower body and has naturally wide shoulders to boot. At 6’2″ and 242 pounds he should end up around 280 at the next level. His ability to get around blocks in the backfield says a lot about his agility, as we see him change direction fairly well given his frame. Even with more weight, we do not see him losing much of his quickness. Senior year he was much more aggressive, and really walloped the ball carrier multiple times in the backfield.
