What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
You can put me at any position and I will make plays (big time plays), I can catch the 50/50 deep ball throws at the WR position, I can also throw dimes from the QB position
Hammond is a versatile athlete who plays both QB and WR for his squad. He’s got really quick feet, and his long legs pick up big chunks of yardage. Needs to continue to work in the weight room and fill out his frame – should help with his YAC. Hammond also plays QB, his fundamentals are pretty raw, but is actually showing decent progress in his senior year, especially from an accuracy stand point. Release and footwork gets wonky, especially when he starts to make plays on the move. Hammond is a creative player with good athleticism and can escape out of the pocket and make plays but probably translate better as a wide receiver given height and apparent ball skills. His athleticism is a real difference maker, and his ability to play many positions at the next level will interest a number of colleges at varying levels of play.
