Brown blipped on our radar after making some noise as a sophomore, but the 2022 back has looked pretty good during his junior year. He can sidestep a defender and hits top speed fast. At 6′ and 206 lbs., you have to think favorably of his solid speed and size. There is little doubt that Brown won’t be over 210 lbs. at the next level. Against competition in his area, he is able to run around tacklers pretty easily, but he could also use his power more too. Stiff arm needs to be utilized more. What I do like about Brown is how hard he runs between the tackles. He gets his pad level pretty low too. Ideally, option teams will like his potential a good bit at b-back. Brown is a solid football player. We watched his film against all the top competition in his region. Brown ran over a 1235 yards with a 7.4 ypc and 19 touchdowns, which earned him All-State HM on our site. Brown is a good D1 caliber athlete, and definitely, a 2022 recruit to know. He is set for a huge senior year.

Update: His senior year has been exactly that. Brown is currently 2nd in the state in rushing yards. His team is 8-1 and he is the driving force in their 5 game win increase this fall. Brown is more explosive this year, the added muscle is paying dividends and he is breaking off longer runs. Overall, we think Brown is one of the more underrated backs still available in this class, and should prove that in the playoffs if coaches need more convincing.
