What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I’m a blue collar athlete. I am willing to put myself on the line for my team to win. I want to learn as much as i can to improve my game. I’m a varsity starter since my sophomore year. This past season i had 50+ pancakes, above 94% blocking grade, and helped lead my team to a semifinal appearance.
Adcock was the man in the middle for the state semifinalist in 6-A. The tough minded 2020 recruit gets after his opponent quickly out his stance. He keeps an ultra flat back and is so quick to engage that it throws the defender off his game. He’s a powerful player given his size, and a little more time in the weight room should do wonders in college. Love the energy he plays with when blocking. Adcock keeps his hands inside the shoulder pads of the defender and plays with compact strong hands. Getting even quicker coming out his stance could really open up the door for Adcock for option schools – I think he can get to around 280 at the next level without losing any of his quickness.
